By the Rev. Dena McPhetres, Associate Minister
The countdown has begun! These weeks are full of preparations to depart for sabbatical.
My fondest hope for you during my sabbatical is that you support Sara and Jennifer and engage whole-heartedly with their ministry. Your journey during my absence will be full and inspiring as First Church moves from the warm days of August harvest through the cold days of December holidays. My journey will be one of emptying and seeing what emerges as I rest, reflect and renew.
My last day in the office is July 28. Expect to see some loose ends flying behind me in rainbow colors as I depart the church building. I’ll be back in the office January 2, 2018.
Be well, my dear ones, and be good to one another.
