December 24, 2017

Christmas Eve

THREE SERVICES  3:30, 5:00 & 6:30 p.m.

“Christmas Eve Candlelight Services”

The Rev. Jennifer Nordstrom and Beryl Aschenberg, Director of Religious Education
Music: Alissa Rhode, Lead Music Director – 3:30 p.m and 5:00 p.m
Music: Tristan Strelitzer, Choral Director, & the Chancel Choir – 6:30 p.m

Child care at 3:30 & 5:00 p.m.

Join us and bring your family as we celebrate one of the simplest, yet most beautiful services of the year. Children are welcome at all three services. Child care will be available for the youngest, if desired, during the first two services.

As always, there will be special holiday music and carols. With your help, a holiday reception will follow each service, so please consider contributing some of your holiday cookies and perhaps a lending hand!

One hundred percent of our offering will be shared on Christmas Eve between two local organizations: Interchange Food Pantry and Guest House men’s shelter.

INTERCHANGE Food Pantry helps people in our local neighborhood who struggle with food insecurity and those throughout Milwaukee with emergency food needs.  This year about 8,000 people will receive food and personal hygiene items from Interchange, which recently strengthened its relationship with Hunger Task Force and added the 53233 zip code to its service area.  Every $1 you donate to Interchange buys $5 worth of high-quality food from Feeding America for pantry guests.

GUEST HOUSE  The Guest House helps people receive services with dignity. It is a comprehensive resource of proven programs that address the root causes of homelessness.
