Community Sing with Barbara McAfee

November 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Barbara McAfee

“Barbara McAfee is a one woman Burning Man Festival!” – Parker J. Palmer.

Experience the joy of singing in the oral tradition…no music to read, no performance, no perfection, plenty of beauty! Come share simple songs, rounds, and chants from around the world. Taste the pleasure of harmony with your fellow humans. Move, breathe, laugh, and enjoy this ancient form of creating “we.” No talent or experience necessary. Suggested donation $5–$15 at the door.

Barbara McAfee is a voice coach, singer/songwriter, keynote speaker, and author from Minneapolis, Minnesota who merges lessons from years in organization development with the transformational power of sound. She has produced seven CDs of mostly original music and is founder of Morning Star Singers, a volunteer hospice choir in the Twin Cities. Her book, Full Voice: The Art & Practice of Vocal Presence, was a #1 Amazon bestseller in Business Communications. Barbara is a cross pollinator traveling among the worlds of work, music, personal development, and community. Her work fosters aliveness, joy, expression, and connection in individuals and groups.
