Designing America describes how Frederick Law Olmsted made “environmental ethics” an idea long before the concept of the environment and green issues touched our lives and became a part of American politics.

Olmsted initiated the concept of parks as essential to our cities as both elements of art and nature.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Films begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. Discussion follows, as time allows.
