Sunday Service: “A Wondrous Love, a Saving Love”

July 31, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

ONE SERVICE AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 10:00 a.m.
“A Wondrous Love, A Saving Love”
Speaker: Rev. Karen Quinlan, Pulpit Guest
Music: Tristan Strelitzer, Choral Director

Salvation is a term that may – or may not – be useful to Unitarian Universalists. This morning we’ll talk about some traditional concepts of salvation, and consider the roles of wonder and love in what saves us.

The Rev. Karen Quinlan serves the James Reeb UU Congregation in Madison. Karen comes to ministry out of a background in plant ecology and understands the interconnected web of all existence as both a physical and a theological reality. She lives on the east side of Madison with her partner Paul, their daughter Catherine, and their dog Boone.
