Sunday Service: Rainbow Theology

June 5, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

ONE SERVICE AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 10:00 a.m.

“Rainbow Theology”
Speaker: The Rev. Dena McPhetres
Music: Jack Forbes Wilson, Resident Artist

Next weekend is PrideFest in Milwaukee, so I thought it a fitting time to learn about “rainbow theology,” which arises from the lived experience of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer people of color. The intersections of race, sexuality and spirit create interesting ways of viewing the world through a multiplicity of lenses.
