Feast for Funds is First Church’s annual festive silent auction – an extravaganza of great events, hosts, and guests enjoying a splendid panoply of fine dining, wine and spirits, home fellowship events, family fun and vacations!
Our 6th Annual Feast for Funds is coming! The 2016 auction of Feast for Funds events will begin Sunday, October 16 and end Sunday, October 23. Let’s make this our biggest and best feast ever!

How can you participate? Please consider supporting our biggest fundraising event by getting involved. Do you have a special talent or skill, or unique item to donate? Can you host an event at your home, business, or favorite bar/restaurant?

This year, Feast for Funds bidding will say goodbye to paper and hello to mobile bidding. This will give you ultimate access to our Feast catalog through any electronic/mobile device; that advantage is that you can keep up to date with your bids or bidding activity of favorite items.
Our Feast for Funds Team. along with the Gesture staff, will make this transition as easy as possible to keep this event fun and hassle free. No phone? No problem! Our volunteers and Gesture staff will be ready on our bidding dates to act as your personal shopper to ensure you have the “white-glove experience” you deserve.
With Gesture, you can literally be anywhere between October 16th and 23rd and support First Church!
Why Mobile Bidding? Gesture Software is a leader in mobile bidding and will help make our auction more efficient and easy for both our members and volunteers. You will even have the option to pay securely by phone without needing to come to coffee hours during the payment weeks or opening your wallet. You will also get your donation receipt immediately!
We do not plan leaving any member or friend behind! We will still have paper copies of our catalog, and you will still have the option of paying for your feasts with cash or paper checks. There will be “personal shoppers” to help get folks acquainted with the new bidding system. With all of these measures in place, we will have a total of 8 DAYS of bidding, which can help make this a fun, enjoyable, and successful feast!
