Responsibilities

Jack programs music for approximately 25% of Sundays, collaborating with both member musicians and professional guests. Jack also serves as an accompanist to the Chancel Choir. In addition to being our Resident Artist, Jack teaches piano, coaches voice and works in a variety of ways in many local community and professional theaters.

Background

Jack Forbes Wilson was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jack came to Wisconsin to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received a Master of Music Degree before moving out to Spring Green. After working at American Players Theatre for three seasons, he moved to Milwaukee, where he has worked as a pianist, singer, and actor for three decades. For twenty years he has been a musical director at the First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee. He has appeared in many shows at the Milwaukee Rep’s Stackner Cabaret, and has also performed with Madison Rep, Skylight Opera Theatre and Next Act Theatre.
