Postponed: “What Does Airbnb Have to do With our First and Seventh Principles?”

Presenter: Elizabeth Martorell, First Church Member (2012), Airbnb Host (2018).

Community member Elizabeth Martorell will share her experience as an Airbnb host since August 2018. An unexpected gift of this adventure has been to incorporate her spirituality into welcoming people from all over the world into her home and in some instances into her heart.

Elizabeth will explain what Airbnb is, why she decided to do this, how she prepared, share some guest happenings, and relate all this to the First and Seventh Principles.

Host:  Lorraine Jacobs

Sunday Forum is a Sunday morning lecture series at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee that showcases provocative, sometimes controversial, speakers discussing topical issues of the day: politics, the environment, health issues, the arts, education and more. The Forum — in Max Otto Hall on our second floor — begins at 10:10 a.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. Speakers give a 30-minute presentation, followed by questions and brief comments from the audience. Coffee is served. Childcare is available.
