Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

December 24, 2020 | 5:00 pm

Winter Holiday Decorations, First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee

Join us online for a simple, traditional multigenerational Christmas Eve service of carols, candlelight, and stories, told and sung from our First Church sanctuary. Instead of gathering in the sanctuary by candlelight, we will bring the sanctuary into your candlelit homes. Our voices will sing out and lights will flicker all across the city.

This year, Christmas Eve will be different, and we invite you to prepare for it by picking up a Christmas Kit from church on three dates, setting up your space at home for beauty by candlelight during the service. If you did not pick up a Christmas kit, consider having a candle nearby to light during the singing of “Silent Night.”

To enjoy the service:

  • Your candle to light.
  • Here is an order of service. Clickable link to the livestream is on the first page.
  • We will also share lyrics to carols on the screen.
