“Get In Where You Fit In”

Presenter:  Terry Wiggins, First Church member (2009), climate change awareness activist

Today’s political climate builds concern for the future, hindering our vision of where to “fit in.”  Rev. Jennifer’s September 29th sermon explored roadblocks hampering personal action and reviewed positive alternatives. Terry Wiggins took these words to heart and deepened her commitment to the myriad worries that climate chaos is causing. She will explore her experiences and decision-making process regarding personal activism. She will offer thoughts about how to “get in” when called.

First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee

Sunday Forum is a Sunday morning lecture series at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee that showcases provocative, sometimes controversial, speakers discussing topical issues of the day: politics, the environment, health issues, the arts, education and more. The Forum — in Max Otto Hall on our second floor — begins at 10:10 a.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. Speakers give a 30-minute presentation, followed by questions and brief comments from the audience. Coffee is served. Childcare is available.
