Honoring Our Dead

October 31, 2021 | 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Today’s Topic:

Morrie Schwartz wrote in Tuesdays with Morrie, “death ends a life, not a relationship.” What does it mean to cultivate a relationship with the dead? It can be healing to honor our lost loved ones through ritual, especially during this time when we don’t have access to the usual sort of memorial services. We are living through a grief pandemic. How might we care for one another during this time of collective loss? Join us near All Saints/All Souls Day for a story, a homily and a ritual to honor our losses and our grief.

Worship Team:

Reverends Dena McPhetres (Associate Minister), Jennifer Nordstrom (Senior Minister), and Kimberlee Tomczak Carlson (Minister of Religious Education)
Alissa Rhode, Lead Music Director
