Today’s Topic:

Marquette University Professor O’Hear is a nationally recognized authority on criminal punishment. He will explore the causes of mass incarceration in Wisconsin and consider whether current imprisonment levels might be reduced without harming public safety.

Sunday Forum is a Sunday morning lecture series at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee that showcases provocative, sometimes controversial, speakers discussing topical issues of the day: politics, the environment, health issues, the arts, education and more. The Forum — in Max Otto Hall on our second floor — begins at 10:10 a.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. Speakers give a 30-minute presentation, followed by questions and brief comments from the audience. Coffee is served. Childcare is available.
