Milwaukee's Oak Leaf Trail

Today’s Topic:

“Oak Leaf Trail: Where Adventures Begin”

Cheri Briscoe, member of Milwaukee County Trails Council and the Sierra Club, will offer ideas for a range of adventures in nature, history, and culture, exploring our city’s wonderful 124-mile Milwaukee County Oak Leaf Trail system.

The Oak Leak Trail serves a diversity of users: hikers, runners, bikers, dog walkers, and more.

Ms. Briscoe will guide you on a visual tour of some favorite Milwaukee County Parks along the trail.

You’ll learn about Park Friends groups and the creative ways Milwaukee County Parks accomplish so much, despite tight budgets, through cooperation and grants with other government entities.

Host: Christian Becker.

First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee

Sunday Forum is a Sunday morning lecture series at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee that showcases provocative, sometimes controversial, speakers discussing topical issues of the day: politics, the environment, health issues, the arts, education and more. The Forum — in Max Otto Hall on our second floor — begins at 10:10 a.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. Speakers give a 30-minute presentation, followed by questions and brief comments from the audience. Coffee is served. Childcare is available.
