Owning Your Religious Past

Stained Glass Window, First Uunitarian Society of Milwaukee

Are you wondering what to do with past religious beliefs and experiences now that you’re a UU? This five-week class can help you reflect on your religious past, sorting out what to leave, what to bring into the present, and what to redefine. We’ll give you simple tools through which you may re-examine and retrieve positive aspects of past religious experiences, including group sharing and private exploration using journal exercises. Join us for a meaningful reflection on our lifelong spiritual journeys. (Please bring a journal or notebook and pen.)

Facilitators: Jeanne Lowry and Gordie Mueller

Five Tuesday evenings, March 5-April 2, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Class Size: Minimum 5 and Maximum 15

Cost: $25 members; $35 non-members. Scholarships available.

Registration will be available at the Religious Education Table in the Common Room during Coffee Hours after Sunday services. More information and online registration will be coming in February.
