“That Time the Rabbi Spiked the Punch”

Misha Sanders, Pulpit Guest

Today’s Topic:

Did Jesus choose the theme of his first miracle to show everyone how much value he placed on having a good party?

Maybe it was deeper than that.

Maybe not. Let’s have some fun talking about it!

Reverend Misha Sanders is a recent graduate of Meadville Lombard Theological School, and was ordained by her home church, Unitarian Universalist Church, Rockford, Illinois, in May. Misha will begin a hospital chaplain residency this fall, and will continue residing in Woodstock, Illinois, with her fabulous teenager and a menagerie of four-legged family.

The First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee is a progressive church for spiritual community, social justice, and intellectual freedom. Visit us for Sunday services, forums, religious education for children & youth, and other programs and social activities. Visitors to First Church are always welcome! Join us for coffee and conversation in the Common Room following each service.
