“Trusted with the Future of our Faith: Someone is Learning How to Be a Person of Faith by Watching You”
As the people of the church today, we are trusted with the future of our faith tomorrow. This future is being created right now through the faith development of our children. We play that role as parents and caregivers; as volunteers and teachers; and we play that role with or without any official connection to the Religious Education program or particular children of this congregation.
In faith communities, children are learning how to be persons of faith by watching you. Because our children absorb and learn from their environment, experiences, and the behavior and attitudes of the adults around them, everyone in our community today is creating the future of Unitarian Universalism in everything we do.
