“Weaving Community Creates Resilience”

Rev. Jennifer Nordstrom, First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee

Today’s Topic:

Resilience is not a solitary project—it comes through being in community with others. The more diverse an eco-system is, the more resilient it is. Through being in community with many different people, we build resilience into our own lives, each weaving different talents and gifts into a tapestry that is stronger due to every thread.

How do we cultivate resilience in community, and in our individual members? Join us for this Stewardship Sunday service where we will dedicate our Visiting Stewards and celebrate the resilience of being woven in community with one another.

First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee is a progressive church for spiritual community, social justice, and intellectual freedom. Visit us for Sunday services, forums, religious education for children & youth, and other programs and social activities. Visitors to First Church are always welcome! Join us for coffee and conversation in the Common Room following the service.
