Benedict LeFort

Board Term Ending 2023.  Ben joined the First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee in 2006, though his first exposure to Unitarian Universalism was at a historic congregation in Provincetown, MA. The minister there at that time was Rev. Jennifer Justice, and her sermons were as powerful as her name! In his time as a member at First Church, Ben has led the Marketing Committee and taken photos and staffed the Coffee Hour Table for the Religious Education program. Ben brings to the board skills in nonprofit marketing and volunteer management, as well as experience with for-profit social enterprises, startup companies, consulting, budgeting, and operations. His daughter Vera is in 5th grade, plays violin and piano, and is an avid Latin dance enthusiast; they live in Bay View. Ben is thrilled to be nominated for the board, and looks forward to putting his shoulder to the wheel for the mission of our community.
