Mike Hogan

Board Term Ending 2023.  A First Church member for more than 15 years, Mike visited his first Sunday service when he saw the lawn marquee that said “Everything Jesus Ever Said About Homosexuality,” and thought that any church willing to put that on the front lawn was worth a visit. Mike has served on the Religious Education Committee, as a Worship Associate, one year on the Finance Committee, and on Minister Emeritus Drew Kennedy’s Committee on Ministry. He met his wife Irene 15 years ago after a religious education teacher training. Between them, they have five children who have all attended Sunday School through OWL (Our Whole Lives) classes. Four of their children have attended university in different cities and their youngest is a sophomore at Wauwatosa East High School. Mike has been Director of Operations at The Women’s Center in Waukesha for 25 years. Mike and Irene enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and many other casual outdoor activities. Mike is active in the Elmbrook Rotary Club and the Wauwatosa East Athletic Boosters.
