In 1917, a group of Italian men were charged with injuring 2 police officers in a riot in Bay View. Later, they were charged with setting off a bomb in Milwaukee’s central police station killing nine officers and one civilian. The book Anarchy in Bay View’s Little Italy, explores the events, especially the murder trial.

For over 50 years, the Sunday Forum lecture series has showcased provocative, sometimes controversial, speakers discussing topical issues of the day: politics, the environment, health issues, the arts, education, and more.
