Mindfulness Meditation Basics is a 90‑minute open house designed for beginners who are curious about meditation or practice infrequently. The session offers a welcoming introduction to the what, how, and why of mindfulness meditation, including a brief discussion, a short talk on the benefits and purpose of meditation, a guided meditation practice, and time for questions and reflection. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of mindfulness meditation, a direct experience of the practice, and practical confidence to continue on their own if they choose. No prior meditation experience is required and is 1.5 hours long.
