Peace Action of Wis. and the War in Gaza.

Peace Action-WI Office Manager Pam Richard & Samir Moukaddam, PA-WI Steering Committee Co-Chair.

Richard will provide an overview of Peace Action of Wis., its mission, goals and summary of past work. Richard will also talk about her work with the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability.

Moukaddam will provide an update of PA-WI work as a member of the Coalition for Justice in Palestine. He will discuss the history and context behind the current war, which could easily escalate regionally. And it could involve all the “superpowers” and affect many other world regions. Moukaddam will be speaking from a perspective, which rarely receives much coverage on corporate (including public) media.  peaceactionwi.org

For over 50 years, the Sunday Forum lecture series has showcased provocative, sometimes controversial, speakers discussing topical issues of the day: politics, the environment, health issues, the arts, education, and more. The Sunday Forum is held at 10:00 a.m. September through May. Speakers give a 45-minute presentation, followed by questions and brief comments from the audience.
