Wis-CON-sin Youth Mini-Con

Join us for a Youth mini-con

Sunday, January 14, at 4:00 pm until Monday, January 15 at noon

at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee.

Youth events help connect UU Youth across the Midwest. Our goal is to create an intentionally safe faith community for youth that provides opportunities for worship, social justice, education, leadership development, and community building while maintaining respect for others, the site, and the environment.

Youth groups need to attend with their youth adviser, one adult per six youths. If a youth is unable to attend with an adult adviser, please contact us and we will try to accommodate the youth. Youth forms should be filled out and given to your youth adviser or religious educator. Electronic registration forms are due to First Unitarian Society by January 10, 2024.

SCHEDULE: 

Sunday, January 14 

4:00-6:00 pm – Arrival, check-in, dinner, board games & craft

6:00-7:00 pm – Welcome, introductions & icebreakers

7:00-9:00 pm – Sardines (optional board games & craft)

9:00 pm-midnight – MOVIE: Black Panther, crafting & discussion
(popcorn to personalize taste, mask making, Kimoyo beads)

Midnight – Pizza and cookies

Monday, January 15 

8:00-9:00 am – Breakfast: bagels, juice & fruit

9:00 am-11:00 am – Collaborative art project

11:00 am – Clean up

Noon – Time to go home!
