We are delighted that so many people are finding or returning to First Church—and we want to make them feel welcome, connected, included, and help them along the path to belonging.
Are you a “people person?” Do you enjoy listening to someone’s story, connecting them to other people and activities, finding ways to help “make things obvious” at First Church so that everyone can engage at whatever level works for them?
If so, please consider joining our Membership Team! We meet once a month on the Second Sunday of the month at 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at church or you could join the meeting via Zoom.
Our team focuses on welcoming people on Sundays and following up with guests. We support the Journey to Membership classes three times a year. We brainstorm and implement good ideas to engage folks from the first day they find us to decades-long members. We’d love to hear from you! Contact Rev. Dena if you are interested.
