Nonpartisan Mayoral Forum with Common Ground

Either Cavalier Johnson or Bob Donovan will be chosen in the April 5, 2022 general election. This will be a historic election for Milwaukee and the region, and we want you to be part of it. Our goal is to have 600+ members and friends present (online and in-person) to show our strength and start our relationship with the next mayor. This is a nonpartisan forum.

Sunday, March 13, 3:00 – 4:30 pm, live on Zoom and in-person at St. Mark’s AME.

RSVP by clicking HERE. When you RSVP, you will be asked to indicate if you will be attending in-person, online, or not sure. You don’t have to be a Milwaukee voter to attend.

We will have room for about 200 people to attend in-person at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1616 W. Atkinson Ave., with distancing, masks and additional COVID-safety measures.  We will also be live on Zoom.

We will be asking the candidates to share their vision for Milwaukee by committing to advancing Common Ground’s agenda on Education, Jobs, Affordable Universal Broadband Access, Reducing Reckless Driving, and Increasing Racial and Gender Diversity in MPD & MFD.

Jerry Fredrickson, Chair of Common Ground at First Church
