Ken Liddell

Responsibilities

As the part-time Facilities Manager, Ken’s responsibilities include managing maintenance repairs for all areas of the building, and electrical, plumbing and heating/air conditioning systems. Ken supervises, trains and coordinates the facilities assistant and maintenance handyman. He contracts for custodial and building maintenance as needed. Keeping our building clean, safe, and in good operating condition is a priority.

Background

Ken brings decades of experience as facilities manager through ServiceMaster’s Account Management Department located in Downers Grove, Illinois. This department was later purchased by Aramark. Ken facilitated management services in healthcare, education and industrial companies in the department of housekeeping, food services, maintenance, plant operations and transportation. Ken didn’t care for full-time retirement. He loves and is happy  to get back into facilities work and working with people. Also, going on 40 plus years he serves as the Minister of Music for Holy Cathedral Church. What a great fit for First Church!
