Tristan Strelitzer

Responsibilities

Tristan programs music for one-third of Sunday services, directs the Chancel Choir, plays the organ, piano, and other instruments for services, and maintains the church’s choral library.

Background

Tristan received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Tristan has played piano, percussion and sung with a variety of musical ensembles and theater groups in southeastern Wisconsin. He previously taught instrumental and choral music in public and private schools. In addition to working part-time at First Church, he works as Choir/Music director at Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church and as Firefighter/EMT for Western Lakes Fire District. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and the Association of Unitarian Universalist Music Ministries.
