The beginning of our church year coincides with the Jewish New Year this year, inviting us to begin again in love.
How do new beginnings make you feel? What medicine is there for a tender spirit and what nourishment is there for our longings?
The invitations of the spirit can come like whispers and they can come like wallops. I invite you to pay attention to the places you are being invited to begin again this month. What is the universe’s inviting you to begin? Do you feel something beckoning to you from the future, or maybe the past? What calls to a longing in your soul?
Let’s explore the ways beginning anew can open doors in our spirits, our community, and the world.
