Love That Saves

Today’s Topic:

As Unitarian Universalists, we claim love as our theological core. The Unitarian Universalist minister and historian Mark Morrison Reed talks about the central task of the religious community as revealing the bonds that bind each to all – the connectedness and the relationship across everyone everywhere that compels us to act on one another’s behalf. Love is what calls us to be responsible and caring parents, active in our justice making work, caring for our community and our Earth.  We are encountering an “epidemic of loneliness,” and finding time to love the world is a constant challenge. Let us remember the love that saved us and how it challenges us to cultivate a world with more of it.
