The Welcome Table
September 17, 2023 | 9:00 am & 11:00 am
Today’s Topic
Water Ritual.
If Love is the currency of Unitarian Universalism, then welcome is one of the ways we exchange it. Giving welcome says, “your full self will be welcome here; you can be loved just as you are.” Receiving welcome says, “I am ready to be my full self here; I am ready to be seen and known.” Join us for this service that explores overcoming the obstacles to giving and receiving welcome, and remember to bring some water from home to participate in our water ritual—we’ll also have water waiting for those who forget!

It is located 3 blocks west of the church, on Van Buren near Knapp St. Kingshead lot: On Sundays we can also use the gated parking lot on the corner of Van Buren and Knapp Streets. After you park, get a token from an usher in order to exit the lot. We also rely on street parking in our neighborhood. Here is a map with details.
