Who Do You Say That I Am?
April 2, 2023 | 9:00 am & 11:00 am
Today’s Topic:
On this Palm Sunday in the Christian tradition, we’ll explore who we think Jesus was. What can we know for sure? What do we think are his most important teachings from the time in which he lived and worked to resist a huge domination system—the Roman empire. How do we identify and nurture the seeds of our own resistance in the quest for personal and communal liberation?
Our previously scheduled pulpit guest, the Rev. Dr. Sofia Betancourt, nominee for President of the UUA, regrets she is unable to be with us this Sunday. The plan to reschedule her visit to Milwaukee will be forthcoming.
