How can we be filled with the wonder that comes with sitting still and paying attention? When we slow down, what do we hope to find? And how will we continue to shape and grow this community based on how we show up and speak the truth of our theological diversity?

Rev. Mykal O’Neal Slack is the Community Minister for Worship and Spiritual Care for Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism, an organization and growing spiritual community committed to supporting Black folx in our faith. He is a co-founder of the Transforming Hearts Collective, a ministry that both supports spaces for LGBTQ people to access resilience, healing, and spirituality and resources faith communities and other groups for the work of radical inclusion and culture shift. He is a Black, Queer, and Trans husband and father from the South, committed to healing and truth-telling, as well as community accountability and care.
