Description
In support of the Fifth Principle of Unitarian Universalism we nurture and protect our democracy:
1. By acting, in collaboration with community allies, to strengthen and protect voting rights and encourage voting in coming elections;
2. By opposing partisan districting and false messaging in electoral politics; and
3. By creating programs to foster civic engagement, coalition-building and voting.
Our goal is to weave participatory democracy into our lives inside and outside the church walls and invite others to consider a faith that encourages action.
