Adult Education Table:

Weekly notes will inform volunteers of current RE offerings.

Children’s RE Table Captains:

Eight volunteers are needed. Initial orientation will be provided for all. Weekly notes will inform volunteers of current RE offerings. Training takes 15 minutes!

  • Provide a helpful presence for people seeking to know more about our program.
  • Direct questions to appropriate staff members.
  • Record and turn in cash and checks as needed

Coffee Hosts:

Eight volunteers are needed. Join in the fun of helping host Coffee Hours! Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of this most important social time of the week? Work with our friendly Facilities Assistants to provide coffee hospitality. We ask you to assist with a minor amount of set-up (our super volunteer Christian B. does most of the prep), replenish condiments and supplies as needed, bring dirty cups to the kitchen, tidy up the tables, and at the end of the day, clear refreshments out of the Common Room.

There’s time to chat a bit with friends in the Common Room as you keep an eye on things. No dishwashing required! Training and snacks provided. There are Coffee Coordinators for each of the two Coffee Hours to coordinate the coffee corps. This monthly volunteer opportunity requires about an hour of your time—it varies a little with each service time.

Social Justice Council Table:

Eight volunteers are needed. The Social Justice Council Table provides information about how church members can participate in our many social justice programs and volunteer opportunities. Our table volunteers welcome and orient folks to what’s going on with these programs and help them sign-up for lots of great activities that make a difference.
