Kinship Community Food Center invites you to a thought-provoking Forum exploring how food apartheid and health disparities intersect, shaping the lives of those who rely on food pantries in Milwaukee. Discover how a Community of Generosity—where everyone gives and everyone receives—transforms individuals and communities alike, empowering solutions to food insecurity. Attendees will learn about Kinship’s innovative programs and the organization’s mission to cultivate community through food. Updates on recent initiatives will highlight how Kinship addresses hunger holistically. Join us to reflect, learn, and become a part of changing the way hunger is addressed in our city.

First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee

For over 50 years, the Sunday Forum lecture series has showcased provocative, sometimes controversial, speakers discussing topical issues of the day: politics, the environment, health issues, the arts, education, and more. The Sunday Forum is held at 10:00 a.m. September through May. Speakers give a 45-minute presentation, followed by questions and brief comments from the audience. The content of Forum lectures does not necessarily express the viewpoint of First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, but are meant to offer thoughtful topics which our members often pursue further on their own.
