Sarah Richards

Board Term Ending 2025.  Sarah Richards and her family began attending First Church in 2010. She and her husband Mark became members in 2012. Sarah served as Chair of the Children’s Religious Education Team, an RE volunteer, Co-Chair of the UU Parenting Group, a member of the DRE Search Team, a Beloved Conversations facilitator, and a Pastoral Care Associate. Currently, Sarah is a PCA Co-Trainer and a member of the Anti-Racism Team, and occasionally plays percussion during Worship Services. In her professional life, Sarah has worked as an Occupational Therapist in school settings, in outpatient orthopedic clinics, and as an independent consultant.

Sarah coaches soccer at Shorewood High School, volunteers as Education Director and on the Board of Directors for Kids Impact Community, and is involved in her local school district. Sarah’s children, Owen and Maya, have grown up attending RE and before the pandemic, they became quite comfortable entertaining themselves while their parents socialized at Coffee Hour!
