SUNDAY FORUM AT 10:00 A.M. “Things Your History Teacher Didn’t Tell You: Blacks In History” presented by Derek Mosley JD, Director of the Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education at Marquette University Law School.

 

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN.

All Children & Youth over 5 years old begin at 9:00 a.m. today by checking-in at the R.E. Table in the Leenhouts Common Room to receive a name & safety badge.  After our time together in the sanctuary, Children, Youth and R.E. Volunteers depart for the R.E. program.

 

For children under the age of five, the Nursery and Preschool are open from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. during the first service, and from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. during the second service, fifteen minutes before service to help make the transition as easy as possible for families.

  

REV. NONTOMBI NAOMI TUTU, MORTER LECTURE SPEAKER SEPT. 23 & 24. Please join us as we welcome Rev. Nontombi Naomi Tutu, daughter of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Rev. Desmond Tutu, as our Morter Lecture Speaker. In her lecture titled “We Must Ask Again, Where To Now, Community or Chaos?” she will share her thoughts about diversity’s strength and beauty. On Sunday, Rev. Tutu will preach, “Welcoming People’s Wholeness.”

The small-group dinners are held in participants’ homes, with everyone bringing an assigned element of the meal: main dish, salad, or dessert, with the host providing the beverages and hors d’oeuvres.
