Awakening Is a Process
April 10, 2022 | 9:00 am & 11:00 am
Today’s Topic:
The Christian Holy Week begins today as the observant commemorate Jesus’ journey entering Jerusalem for the Passover festival through the days leading to his execution by the state via crucifixion. In the garden of Gethsemane, the story goes, Jesus asked his disciples to stay awake to keep vigil with him. They fell asleep, repeatedly. What does it mean to “stay woke” these days? The process of awakening can be unpleasant yet rich with treasures of ongoing learning and humility. Join us for this Palm Sunday worship service where we explore the process of awakening.
