The Ground Is Troubled
June 13, 2021 | 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Today’s Topic:
The manner in which we are rooted is because of what someone else has done in the past. American society is deeply rooted in settler colonialism, a caste system, racism and the transatlantic slave trade. The ground is troubled with the history and practice of white supremacy culture. How do we add nutrients to the soil that will help us grow something deep enough to transform what we inherit? The power of sunflowers and mushrooms may give us a clue.
