Ware Lecturers Named
The Ware Lecture is a feature of GA. This year, Stacey Abrams and Desmond Meade will share the podium to highlight voting rights.
- Stacey Abrams is perhaps best known for being behind the movement to turn Gorgia blue. She is an entrepreneur, political leader, and bestselling author. She was born in Madison, WI.
- Desmond Meade is a formerly homeless returning citizen perhaps best known for securing voting rights in Florida for formerly incarcerated citizens.
