If prophecy is about survival, transformation, warning, awakening, and wholeness, then how is it possible to be a community of prophecy? In the words of Krista Tippet, how can we help each other “connect the dots between the world as it is and the world as it might be”? What do we need to strengthen and sustain our community for such work in today’s world?

Rev. Jennifer Nordstrom is the new Senior Minister for First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, beginning Fall 2016. A native Wisconsinite, she previously served as minister for Third Unitarian Church in Chicago, Illinois. Active in issues of peace, climate justice, and racial justice, she is currently co-editing a book on environmental justice and Unitarian Universalism, forthcoming in 2017.
