Draw A Larger Circle – Annual Youth Service
February 27, 2022 | 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Today’s Topic:
If we seek to widen the circle of respect, reconciliation, understanding, and love, particularly in places where there is a history of oppression, we need to know our own history. Our youth (teens) will reflect on our church’s history, shining a light on past efforts to “draw a larger circle” and the times we missed the opportunities to “widen our circle.” This young generation of UU’s seek a clear-eyed approach to the challenges before us while gaining wisdom from our past. Let us consider how today’s challenges are echoed in the past as we endeavor to meet the challenges of today and “draw a larger circle” in the future.
